| Sappy Records is an independent record label based in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada. The label was started in 1990 by Julie Doiron to release her own solo cassettes. After laying dormant for a few years the label was revived as an official business in 1995 with Julie and Jon Claytor as partners. They released records by Elevator, Eric's Trip, The Inbreds, Moon Socket, Orange Glass and others before retiring with the Juno winning Julie Doiron and The Wooden Stars in 2000.
In 2006 with the help of Paul Henderson, Sappy once again awoke to release records and host their inaugural music festival in the heart of the Maritimes. We're now looking forward the our third annual SAPPY RECORDS MUSIC FESTIVAL in 2008. xoxoxo |
